Want a new start? Going back to work after a break?

BHPT hold a job club, every Tuesday, at Burnham Community Library, from 12noon until 2pm.

Everybody over 18 is welcome to attend our free job club. It is a relaxed and informal job club, you do not have to stay for the entire session if you don't want to, or come every week.

Feel free to bring a device with you or you can use one of ours. We are here to help in a way that suits you.

  • Money & signposting for any other help

Burnham Library, what can you do there:

  • Support with council services (phone point)
  • Internet & computer access
  • Free wifi
  • Hublets
  • Photocopying, printing & scanning
  • The library is a Warm Space
  • You can read & do a puzzle
  • Take books home (when registered)

In our 1st year we have helped people with application forms, CV's, online form filling, morale support & more and have had many people start new jobs, an apprenticeship and even go back to college! From driving to admin and childcare. We can help with uploading documents, form filling, anything you need to get that new job.

We have been lucky enough to have received a grant from John Lewis & Partners and it has meant we were able to get 2 new devices for Job Club and run some digital skills workshops throughout the year. If you feel your technology skills are stopping you from returning to work or you have a specific issue, get in touch and we may be able to help! Things like uploading CVs and online applications can be confusing if you aren't used to it.
