The Bucks Older Peoples Action Group
The Bucks Older Peoples Action Group (BOPAG) is an independent, non-political, voluntary organisation made up of groups and individuals around the county and further afield. Their core message is Positive Ageing and they have a directory/website to provide information which helps older people lead healthy, active and independent lives.

The Monday Club
The Monday afternoon drop in club provides an enjoyable afternoon for its members. Weekly activities include Bingo, a raffle, tea, biscuits and the opportunity to meet up with old and new friends. Regular lunches are held and also occasional outings and parties. Most weeks there will be a guest speaker or some kind of entertainer.
The Club meets Monday 1pm- 3pm in the Methodist Church Hall, Lent Rise, Eastfield Road, Burnham.

The Well at Lent Rise
The Meeting Place which started in June 2011 takes place every Wednesday and has become the core of the Well’s work. Occasionally, there are specific activities such as First Aid training or Computer Skills courses supplied by Bucks Adult Learning. Regular activities include a group exploring Art as Therapy and a craft group.
The Meeting Place meets on a Wednesday morning from 9.30am - 12noon. It's a drop in for tea, coffee and homemade cakes, along with the opportunity to socialise and build friendships. Citizen's Advice attend once a month for a drop in session.

Walking Football
Walking football can help people lose weight, help prevent loneliness and positively affect overall mental and physical health. Aimed at adults over 50, walking football has social, mental and physical health benefits.
Burnham's Walking Football group meet at Burnham Park Hall, Windsor Lane, SL1 7HR on Tuesdays 11am-12noon and it costs £3 to play.

Chair Based Exercise
A gentle exercise for the over 60’s
Chair based exercise is a friendly and fun class, with gentle movements. The class is run by the popular and lovely Donna Ward, who is a registered Keep Fit Association teacher. This kind of class is perfect for all abilities. Good for those getting back in to exercise, those who need gentle exercise after an operation, those who feel more unsteady etc.
The class is on Mondays from 10am - 10:45am at Burnham Methodist Church, Eastfield Road, Burnham, SL1 7NZ and costs £5 per session.

The Recycled Teenagers Club
The RTC are an independent community group run by volunteers with the following aims:
- Stop isolation in the elderly
- Help with physical, emotional and mental health
- Offer a place to make and meet friends
- Aim to add years to life and life to years.
Recycled Teenagers has an £8 per year membership with currently nearly 100 members and we meet at the Britwell Centre, Wentworth Avenue, Slough. Although a little out of Burnham, its not far and worth the visit!
RTC provide two coffee mornings each week on a Monday and a Friday from 10am to 1pm. For just £1 members can join in with their friends and drink as much tea or coffee as they like, on a Monday for an extra £2 there is a bacon sandwich, on a Friday members donate cakes, sausage rolls etc for all to share.
Wednesday is lunch club, lunch is served at midday, most members are there long before! The lunch club finishes at 2pm and it is £4 for dinner, pudding and drink as much tea of coffee as they like. They also arrange day trips to the beach and a yearly 7 day holiday!
